Tour a Craftsman Style Custom New Home in Ohio This Saturday

Spring may still be more than a month away, but that’s not stopping our hard working team, or our customers, who have been busy designing and building dream homes of nearly every size, shape, and budget.

In fact, we’re so excited to show you some of the beautiful ways that our customers are customizing their new homes in Ohio that we’re throwing open our doors for an Open House event this Saturday. During this one-day event you can tour one of our homes currently under construction in Marysville, Ohio.

Our Open House event features the Montgomery Craftsman style plan that has been customized as a stunning showcase home that’s as rich in architectural detail as it is in modern, family-friendly design.

Here are just a few of the customizations that you’ll see when you tour the Montgomery Craftsman during our Open House event this weekend:

  • Side entry garage for enhanced curb appeal
  • Craftsman wood-grained front door and premium sidelights for a warm welcome for visitors
  • 9’ foot ceilings throughout the home
  • Dramatic cathedral ceilings in the open-concept great room
  • Enlarged kitchen to accommodate 9’ x 4’ breakfast nook with window seat and extra windows
  • Elegant chair rail with bead molded trim in the dining room for added sophistication
  • Square footage added to Master Suite, walk-in closet, and laundry room
  • Luxurious Master Bath with Serrano Tuscan Bronze bath faucets, maple cabinets, a 48” shower with seat and garden tub
  • Full poured wall basement, ideal for storage or future additional living space
  • Craftsman dormer windows that fill the Great Room area with natural light

If you’re thinking about building your own dream home and are looking for custom new home builders in Ohio, we invite you to join us this Saturday to find out more about our quality, our process, our team, and why more than 90% of all customers would refer us to a family member or friend.

  • Can you tell me the color and brand of this siding? Is it dutch lab or traditional style siding and what size 4″ or 5″ wide planks? We are building a home a Illinois and i like the color of this one. Thanks.

    • Hi Jamie, thanks for your question! This home has Cypress Creek 4” clapboard siding and the color is “Hemlock”.

  • Where can we view the floor plan for this particular house with the side entry garage and the hemlock colored siding?

    • Hi Kelly, thanks for your question. The best way to see options and decide what you like is to meet with one of our new home consultants. Please contact our online team to assist you: 866-253-6807. This particular home is our (ever) Montgomery plan. While the open-house was a one-day-only event, we can share thousands of options with you and can customize any of our plans to fit your needs.

  • We found this photo online and LOVE the colors of the house. Can you tell me what color/siding was used on the gables? I would love to know as we design our house this summer.
    Thank you for your time!

    • Hi Tara, we love the colors of this home, too! The premium siding is Cypress Creek, in the color of Hemlock. The Cedar Pride shake siding accenting the gables is Harvest Cedar color. Our online team is readily available to assist you via phone, live chat or form with any additional questions you may have in your new home design

  • What color roof shingles did you use?

Also I don’t see a vinyl shake called harvest cedar. Did you mean the rustic cedar? Thank you 🙂

    • Hi Jenna, Great question! If you are asking about the photo featured in the blog, the color of roof shingles used is Weathered Wood, and the shake siding used is Cedar Pride Harvest Cedar. We hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
