We wrote recently about the exciting and busy model home season that’s now underway here at ladic.info. One such event, a major overhaul and unveiling of our Sandusky Design Studio, recently took place late last month, and we’d like to share how it went and some of the great connections we made!
Our Sandusky Design Studio was completely redesigned prior to this event, a process two months in the making! All-new displays – including a new kitchen vignette featuring the freshest in home décor (and some of our newest offerings) – helped attending families decide on their home’s final finishes. The revamp included everything from floor to ceiling, light fixtures to doors.
All told, about 15 families attended, all of whom were in different stages of the building process. Some were just starting to explore, others were making final decisions, and others were in the midst of the building process. Our Summer Gift Basket winner was Leann and Mike Nieset of Clyde; they’re starting soon on their new Lexington home. A $100 Home Depot “guess the nails” contest was won by Tom Secor of Willard, who is currently working on a custom Montgomery.
In addition to the sales team, who answered countless questions from our families, our Design Consultant Pam Boreman was there to help prospects with any product or selection questions.
The new displays were a huge hit. The updated displays included ones for the home’s exterior including siding, weathered shake siding, dimensional shingles, stone and brick. We also showed off the latest in Kichler lighting, Pfister faucets and Aristokraft cabinetry.
For those curious about the latest in flooring trends, we unveiled a large display that included luxury vinyl tile, ceramics, and classic hardwoods. And, the kitchen vignette brought together a popular combination – Aristokraft Korbett Maple shaker style cabinets in dark gray Flagstone stain with an LG Hi Macs solid surface of Horse Chestnut. The corresponding island was a hit, thanks to its Aristokraft Brellin Purestyle cabinets in Glacier Gray (one of their newest colors!) with the same LG solid surface top.
The latest in countertop selections were also on display, including granite, HD Wilsonart laminate, LG Viaterra Quartz and LG Hi Macs solid surface. All told, it was an excellent opportunity for families at every stage of the building process to see, feel, and experience what their design choices could look like in their future home!
