Moderately Sized Homes from 1,800-2,100 Square Feet

We recently shared a post that highlighted homes that come in at around , in an effort to show how a family can fit comfortably in a space typically seen as “smaller” if the layout is smartly designed.

Now, we’d like to highlight those homes that are bit more generous in square footage, from 1,800 to 2,100 square feet, to demonstrate how vastly different but equally beautiful – and practical – such homes can be!

The Chelsea – Square footage is important, but after you move in, you don’t really think about numbers. You’re only aware of how your home lives day to day, and that’s where the Chelsea really shines. It features an open, welcoming foyer, a great room with a dramatic two-story ceiling overlooked by an upstairs loft, and a spacious master suite perfect for a couple’s retreat!

The Franklin – If flexibility is important to you, look no further. It’s centerpiece is an open floorplan that brings people together for meals at the eat-in kitchen and hanging out in the great room. It includes a flexible spot for an outdoor room in back, and a basement that’s ready for finishing. With three bedrooms and a den that offer personal space when it’s needed, the Franklin has just about everything a growing or shrinking family needs.

The Georgetown – This beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 bath, bi-level home has all the room you need, arranged in a tasteful manner. The upper level features the open living room, dining room and kitchen, complete with walk-in pantry. The master bedroom features a large master bath and walk-in closet. With a family room, spacious utility room and an oversized garage with plenty of storage space, you’ll have all the space you need in the Georgetown.

The Hampton – Look up ‘classic’ in the dictionary and you’ll see a picture of the Hampton. It’s smartly designed to make daily living easier. The living room flows right into the family room and around to the dining room and kitchen, which is ideal for parties. Next to the kitchen is a walk-in pantry and main-floor laundry room for multitasking. Upstairs you get three bedrooms, each with its own walk-in closet, plus a bonus room. What more could you need?

The Lexington and The Lexington II – The Lexington floorplans offer a bright and open home for convenience as well as ease. These lovely 3 bedroom, 2 bath split-level homes open into the spacious living room. The dining area and open kitchen provide a wonderful space for family events, while the private master suite offers two closets and separate bath. And it doesn’t end there…the lower level shows a large family room and utility room. You can tour the beautiful Lexington model at our Pittsburgh office.

The McAllister – Ranch style homes have always been popular for their accommodating one-story layouts. The McAllister takes the idea of main-floor living and gives it a thoughtful makeover for modern families, balancing wide-open, casual spaces with just the right amount of formal space. The kitchen, great room and breakfast nook are adjoined, perfect for guests. And a separate dining room invites more sit-down meals with family and dinner parties that continue well into the evening. Tour the beautiful McAllister today at our Akron Medina office.

The Princeton – Princeton just sounds classic, and classic this floorplan is! Inside, the large living room and dining room area is open to a spacious kitchen, while the lower level features a family room and utility room plus basement for all your storage needs. Upstairs you’ll find the master suite with private bath, 2 additional bedrooms and a full bath. You can tour the beautiful Princeton split level model at the Delaware and Bowling Green offices.

The Stafford – Looking to level up in space? With almost 2,000 finished square feet, this ranch home has enough space for a generous master bedroom suite, two secondary bedrooms and a home office. Even better, that home office is right by the front door, where it can make a nice impression on both business associates and friends. On the other hand, maybe you need a fourth bedroom instead. Or a craft room. Or a formal sitting room. You decide!

The Yorktown – We redesigned this floorplan to be airy and open, with a great room that connects to the kitchen and breakfast nook via a raised bar, a foyer that creates a dramatic welcome for guests and nearly 2,000 square feet of perfection. Meanwhile the two big bedrooms and large master with private bath and walk-in closet are nicely separated from the common areas. In other words, the Yorktown has room for big groups and quiet places to escape them.

With so many options, it might be tough to land on just one – which is why you should give us a call to work through your Personal Value List and land on a floorplan that’s perfect for you!
